The 2021 Crianza Altos Ibéricos comes from vineyards in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa. This aged for 12 months in French (40%) and American (60%) oak, just 7% of it new. The 2021 has a garnet hue and presents aromas of cherry, strawberry and sour cherry, along with hints of undergrowth and candy. The palate is medium-bodied, with plush tannins, moderate richness and a relaxed, fruit-led finish. This is well balanced despite its 14% alcohol.
