The Southern Italian grape variety is noted as a wine that requires patience, hence the '21 vintage, which still possesses a ridiculous level of youthfulness. A slow reveal with black fruits, cassis, bramble, earth, briar, sage, wild herbs and a light dusting of spice leads into a firm tannin-ed palate with some intriguing, light floral notes. A strong vintage to highlight the huge potential of the grape.
