Product Highlights

This is serious Barossa Shiraz with real pedigree.

The winemaker spent more than 30 years at Max Schubert’s side at Penfolds. Schubert, the man behind Penfolds Grange, helped shape modern Australian wine. Working that closely with him leaves a mark. And you can feel that influence in the glass.

The fruit story is just as strong. The vineyard grower behind this wine previously supplied premium fruit to Wolf Blass, another name tied closely to Barossa quality.

The result is classic Barossa Shiraz. Dark plum and blackberry lead the way, with a touch of spice and fine tannin underneath. It has the depth and richness the region is known for, but it stays balanced and easy to drink.

The 2021 vintage in Barossa Valley helped too. Mild conditions and slow ripening produced wines with great fruit depth and natural balance.

If you enjoy generous, full flavoured Barossa Shiraz with real winemaking pedigree, this one makes a lot of sense.

Overall rating: 4.5 / 5 from 6 reviews.
