Named after Ser Lapo Mazzei, the man who first put Chianti on the map, this Riserva is a bold, structured red that offers a glimpse into the wineries most iconic wine, Siepi, embodying the wines Super-Tuscan spirit, blending 90% Sangiovese with 10% Merlot for added depth and elegance. 

James Suckling awarded it 94 points, highlighting its vibrant structure and juicy forest berry flavours. Robert Parker followed with 93 points, appreciating its depth and food-friendly richness. Falstaff praised its bright ruby colour and fine mint aroma, awarding it 92 points.
