The 2021 Pinot Noir Fromm Vineyard is highly perfumed with masses of florals, savory characters, smoky notes and sparkle dust. There's huge density here but it's lightweight, dancing quietly along with a sense of elusiveness. This is not a wine about fruit flavors but lightness of touch, texture and finesse. Dry farmed in organic vineyards and sensitively made.

Offering excellent fruit purity and poise, the wine shows dark plum, sweet cherry, violet, thyme and subtle game notes on the nose, followed by a succulent palate that's plump and elegantly flowing. Tannins are fine and well-pitched, finishing long and soothing. Certified Organic.

Just four barrels of the brooding 2021 Pinot Noir Fromm Vineyard were made. It is savory, restrained and, dare I say, more Old World in style. At the start of its development, this is spiced, smoky and earthy with abundant savory tannins. I was expecting a little more flavor concentration and length considering the small yield, but it's still very good.
