2021 Federici DOC Rosso

A standout from the Castelli Romani, Cantina Federici’s Roma Rosso DOC is a bold blend of Montepulciano and Cesanese, shaped by volcanic soils and cooled by hillside night breezes. This unique terroir preserves the wine’s freshness while adding layers of complexity.

Crafted with extended skin contact and aged for at least seven months on lees in stainless steel, this wine is all about showcasing the pure varietal character of its grapes.

Deep ruby in the glass, it bursts with aromas of blueberry and blackberry jam, lifted by floral violet notes. Subtle hints of black pepper, cinchona, liquorice, and cardamom add intrigue. The palate is rich and warmly Mediterranean, striking a perfect balance between juicy texture and vibrant freshness. The tannins are present but refined, leading to a long, spice-laden finish.
