The Collector Lantern Red 2021 is an evocative blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes from the Canberra District of New South Wales. The wine exhibits a deep ruby red colour, and on the nose, aromas of ripe dark fruits, bramble and red currants are complemented with a touch of cedar and spice. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with a smooth and silky texture. Flavours of ripe blackberries, blueberries and dark plums fill the palate and are balanced with a hint of pepper, smoky oak and light tannins. The finish is long and lingering. This wine is an excellent match for duck or lamb dishes.
