Tasting Notes

Pinot Nero follows a difficult and sensitive path in the vineyard, which becomes complex and unpredictable in the cellar. The ability to do nothing, rather than to do too much, the patience to wait, and the uncertainty dictated by an unpredictable wine. There are no recipes, nor short or lengthy maceration. The approach changes every single year, focusing on fruit that changes every single harvest.. To date, Langhe Doc Pinot Nero can count on 2 vineyards: the “long established” one located between Barolo and Novello, and the new one (2013) in the small village of Santa Lucia in Dogliani.
