Peter Moser - Falstaff
Deep ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, faint brightening on rim. Blackberry fruit, a touch of sweet cherry, delicate cardamom and tobacco, inviting bouquet, orange zest background. Juicy, elegant, fine cherry fruit, ripe, silky tannins, subtle nougat, mineral background, long finish, a multi-faceted wine with ageing potential.

Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle ochre lightening on the rim. Fresh red wild berries, nuances of cherries, tangerine zest and liquorice in the background. Juicy sweet and silky, ripe berry fruit, silky tannins, mineral. Maintains good length; an elegant food companion with certain ageing potential.
A lovely, creamy wine with blackberry, cherry and some chocolate. Medium to full body. Ripe tannins. So pretty. One of the best ever?
A full and juicy red with blackberry, black olive, dark chocolate, and hazelnut aromas and flavors. Creamy, round and deliciously textured. Not a big and powerful wine but very attractive now and for the future. Seductive in so many way. Merlot, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon. Best after 2026.

Roger Voss - Wine Enthusiast
Dominant Merlot in the blend gives this wine both its richness and its smooth texture. Black fruits and generous acidity are sure to develop well. Drink this fine wine from 2026.

Jane Anson - Decanter
This is pretty tasty; sappy with a ton of black fruits and some attractive biter edging - easily on the best vintages of de Sales that I have tasted. Good salinity and sap on the edges, enjoyable, not too intense with sweet black cherry fruit. A really good job from de Sales, excellent mid palate flesh, something that you don't always find in this wine. A recommended buy, easily staying up with the quality of last year. Jean Claude Berrouet consultant since 2017 for blending and winemaking. Could go up to 93 with the in-bottle tastings. Before 2017 never more than 5% was aged in new oak, now up to 18%, just to again give this a slight weight though the mid palate. No press wine at all for the first time - they felt that they had the weight and depth on the free run juice.
