Product Highlights

From one of the oldest Grenache vineyards on the planet, this is a left-of-centre, estate-grown wine that breaks the rules and delivers something spectacular. It’s light-bodied and elegant, yet rich, full of juicy garnet plum, aromatic orange rind, vanilla cherries, and baking spice. Moreish and ever-evolving, it’s no wonder it’s got such a devoted following.

Why does this Grenache stand out? For starters, it’s made by two American mavericks who left behind NYC wine bars and Aspen fine dining to make their mark on Aussie soil. They stumbled upon the Rza Block, home to some of the oldest, most historic Grenache vines in the world, and haven’t looked back since.

A “Chateau Rayas Down Under” experience? You bet. Cult-worthy? Without question.

Classic Rhone Style

"I almost don't want to write this review so can keep the wine all to myself - it was reminiscent of a great Rhone wine, soft and delicious. Under cork and one of the bottles was a bit iffy, BUT the rest of it was incredible, top notch Grenache!"

Flavour som Grenache

"Exceptional value drinking extremely Well have had before love it"

Ronald M. (4/5)

Fabulous drop

"Delicious and complex. Repeat purchas"

Rhys M. (5/5)

Fresh and crisp

"It is a young and light bodied grenache. QUite well made but not one to be cellered. It has good reviews but I figure there is a lot of promise with this label and grenache. However at the price it is a great quaffer."

Brian B. (5/5)

One of my favourites

"A really fine wine from TWC and very much to my liking. Super fresh for a wine seven years old. It has that wonderful Grenache aroma and spice. I'd get more of this if I could. . ."

Richard R. (5/5)

Grenache is close to being

"Grenache is close to being my favourite style of wine - GSM just wins - but I do enjoy most good quality wines like this one."

Rosemary N. (5/5)

A mixed collection

"Perhaps too old, when good, it was satisfying but many had a bad aroma and a couple were corked"

Ron S. (3/5)

Gorgeous Grenache

"One of the best Straight Grenache drops I’ve had at the price ever. Fully developed now, but will be delicious for at least another 5 years. If you can get your hands on some, do so. Highly recommended"

Gavin R. (5/5)

Spicy Grenache with pizzazz

"Ripe plumb and cheries, fine tannins and the perfect amount of spice. It's a cracker!"

Matt H. (5/5)

Great Grenach

"Haven’t drank a lot of Grenache, but have recently tried a couple that I absolutely loved…this was one of them! Very smooth and for the price I paid, extraordinarily impressive!"
