This ambitious family winery is located in Castiglione Falletto, where Parussi is one of its largest vineyards. This has a subdued raspberry coulis nose, but the palate is rich and juicy, showing plenty of upfront fruit. It's solid without being too tannic, with ample vigour and drive. Spicy, balanced and long.

Alluring aromas of rose petal, leather and woodland berry meld together in the glass. The juicy, already accessible palate offers red cherry, crushed raspberry, star anise and a hint of tobacco. It's balanced, with fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. Drink 2020–2027.
