100% Chardonnay. No dosage, no sulphur. The first ADN was made in 2009. It comes from 3ha vineyard of 40-year-old vines grown on Montgeux’s chalky and flinty soli. All done by gravity, base wine spent 2 years in barrels topped up just once a year. Disgorged: 12/2020. Beautifully composed bouquet with roasted hazelnuts, biscuits, more hazelnut paste, ginger and a dusty chalky mouthfeel concluding with a mandarine peel aroma in the aftertaste. Excellent carry of the flavours with an enticing Mirabelle plums as the main character giving the yellow fruit weight to the delicate structure. Great quality, skillfully crafted and with a soul.
