2000 Latour

Château Latour sits at the heart of the Médoc wine region, about 50 km northwest of Bordeaux, where the story of Bordeaux’s vineyards first began. Its Grand Vin is made exclusively from old vines, averaging 60 years of age, planted within the Enclos—the estate’s finest terroir. Covering 47 hectares, these vineyards overlook the Gironde estuary. Since 1993, under the ownership of the Pinault family, the estate has undergone major changes, all with the goal of preserving Château Latour’s unwavering commitment to excellence in its wines.
