St Hugos Wine
Born in 1895 in the Barossa Valley, Hugo Gramp lived and worked his entire life in this world-renowned wine region. Hugo’s grandfather, Johann Gramp, was one of the wine pioneers of this revered wine region, planting his first vines in 1847. Which eventually started the wine business that would be later called G Gramp & Sons by Hugo's father Gustav, and that Hugo would one day lead.
Today, St Hugo wines are prized by wine collectors and connoisseurs all over, and Hugo’s legacy is celebrated at the St Hugo cellar door in Barossa Valley.

Cabernet Sauvignon is undoubtedly their flagship grape, and it’s easy to see why. With awards and accolades galore, their Cabernets are fine and elegant, yet powerful, balanced and irresistible.
The secret to their success? “The key to providing premium high-quality wines from the vineyard is in the COLLECTION process. Each Coonawarra vineyard was carefully monitored as ripening progressed and only those parcels exhibiting excellent potential in terms of colour, varietal expression and tannin structure were set aside as candidates for inclusion in the St Hugo blend.”
