Product Highlights

Big reds. Famous region. Small price. This six-pack brings together six heavy-hitting Barossa Shiraz, worth $320, for just $99. That’s an average of $16.50 a bottle. You’ve got to love the maths.

The Barossa has spent generations earning its place at the heart of Australian Shiraz. Home to some of the oldest producing Shiraz vines on the planet, it’s a region where history runs deep and the wines rarely do things by halves.

This selection puts that generous spirit front and centre. Expect plush black fruits, rich dark chocolate and velvety texture, with the depth and flavour that keep Barossa lovers coming back for more.

Six bottles that deliver the regional character you came for, at a price that makes stocking up a very easy decision.

This pack contains:

1 x Hewitson Ungrafted Barossa Shiraz 2024 (Mystery) (RRP $90.00) | Barossa Valley, SA

96 Ken Gargett, Winepilot: “From aged dry-grown vines, ungrafted of course, fermentation is with whole berries in open vats, before maturation in old French oak barriques, on lees, for fifteen months. Purple/mauve in colour, on the nose we have notes of bay leaves, cassis, chocolate, plums, vanilla, spices and mulberries. A wonderfully supple texture, there also hints of bacon fat emerging on the palate. The wine has serious length with bright acidity, impressive balance, good focus and satiny tannins on the finish. To be enjoyed over the next twelve to fifteen years.”

1 x Schild Estate Single Vineyard Ben Schild Shiraz 2021 (Mystery) (RRP $50.00) | Barossa Valley, SA

95pts Dave Brookes, Halliday's Wine Companion: “There's a real creaminess that I like here. It's not an oak creaminess, more so a plum and blueberry cream with underlying hints of dark-chocolate-dipped cherries, blackforest cake, vanillin oak, panforte, olive tapenade, violets and earth. Luscious and mouth-filling with fine tannins and a velvety flow at the back end. It's a lovely contemporary Barossa shiraz.”

1 x Sorby Adams Adze & Chime Barossa Shiraz 2022 (RRP $60.00) | Barossa, SA

95pts Sam Kim, Wine Orbit: "Sweetly ripe with savoury nuances, the wine presents dark fruit richness, warm spice, smoked game, hazelnut, and dark cocoa aromas on the nose, followed by a weighty palate that's succulent and plush. It's opulent and flavoursome, with structure and firmness, making it highly enjoyable."

1 x Penumbra by Colin Glaetzer Old Vine Shiraz 2021 (RRP $35.00) | Barossa Valley, SA

95 Mark Pollard, TWC Tasting Panel: “Oomph, this is dialled all the way up to 11. The dark, jammy fruits, leap from the glass. The fruit intensity if off the charts, there is an underlying backbone of vanillin oak, that complements the wine. Glaetzer has been making wines like this for years, and this is right on form.”

1 x Sequent Barossa Shiraz 2021 (Mystery) (RRP $50.00) | Barossa Valley, SA

94 Russ Gallagher, Vino Masters: "Deep crimson with a dark, concentrated core. The nose shows ripe blackberry, plum and dark cherry layered with spice and subtle savoury nuance. Full-bodied, the palate delivers rich, generous fruit with a notably soft, rounded texture. A savoury thread of acid brings structure, while fine tannins providing support. Dark fruit and spice carry through a long, smooth and cohesive finish. A classic Teusner-style Shiraz; rich, soft and savoury with excellent balance."

1 x Rosenvale Gottfried Shiraz 2021 (RRP $35.00) | Barossa Valley, SA

94pts Sam Kim, Wine Orbit: “Sweetly ripe and fragrant, the wine shows dark plum, cherry, rich floral, vanilla, and roasted hazelnut aromas on the nose. The palate is splendidly weighted and succulent, with a plump mouthfeel, backed by fine-grained tannins, and finishes long and flavoursome.”
