Tasting Notes

De Stefani's Pinot Grigio comes from well-exposed, naturally ventilated clay soils between the Adriatic Sea and the Dolomites, where the family has cultivated the variety for more than 50 years. The wine shows a bright straw-yellow colour with subtle copper reflections. The nose is elegant and expressive, combining ripe pear and peach with delicate floral and exotic-fruit notes. On the palate, it offers more weight and texture than a typical light-bodied Pinot Grigio, with fresh acidity, balanced minerality and a lingering toasted-almond character. A versatile Italian white with enough texture for the table, particularly suited to seafood, refined antipasti, eggs and grilled fish.
