Product Highlights

Semillon takes the lead in this characterful white from Coughlan Estate, accounting for just over 93% of the blend. A small splash of Sauvignon Blanc completes the picture, with fragrance, generous fruit and a satisfying texture giving this familiar partnership plenty of personality.

Set among Donnybrook’s rolling hills in Western Australia’s Geographe region, Coughlan Estate is home to a dry-grown vineyard first planted in 1978. Hands-on care extends from hand-pruning through to harvest, with winemaker Remi Guise guiding the 2023 release.

94 points - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

White pear, lychee and jasmine lead the aromas, followed by mango and gooseberry. The palate has a soft, silky feel, balanced by crisp natural acidity, with lemongrass and nectarine carrying through the finish.

That texture comes from thoughtful work in the winery. Hand-picked fruit receives brief skin contact before pressing and fermentation in stainless steel. Regular stirring of the lees then builds depth and mouthfeel. The result is a refreshing white with enough substance to hold the attention long after the first sip.
