Product Highlights
Let’s cut straight to the chase. When our buying panel blind tasted fourteen premium Shiraz, this hidden parcel from the Barossa Valley completely stole the show.
Head Wine Buyer Mark Pollard was bowled over:
“Inky black, impenetrably dark, and packed with quintessential Barossa power. But the thing that really hit was simply the depth of flavour. The fruit intensity and complexity and concentration. Just so pure. No other word for it.”
It was an absolute standout.
The level of fruit definition made everything else look kind of… standard. And after the buying panel went on to taste another thirty-six premium Shiraz, the original verdict remained unchanged:
“Bang-for-buck one of the best-value Shiraz we have tried!”
Once the masking was stripped away, everything suddenly made sense.
This is the signature single-vineyard Shiraz from the oldest certified organic vineyard in the Barossa Valley, planted in Vine Vale way back in 1902. The family’s Barossan heritage stretches even further, back to the mid-1800s.
They steadfastly refuse to use synthetic pesticides, herbicides or artificial fertilisers. Instead, biologically active organic soils nurture these ancient vines and help produce intensely concentrated fruit.
So, it’s what this artisanal family doesn’t do that actually makes all the difference.
The result is classic Barossa Shiraz - powerful, intense, succulent and silky, with serious depth and concentration.

Family-owned, small-batch, single-vineyard and produced in extremely small quantities. This is serious Barossa Shiraz hiding behind a Mystery label.
