66/29/5% chardonnay/pinot noir/vermentino from Strathbogie, the Yarra Valley and Heathcote. A pale salmon. Savoury with some red fruits, dried herbs and spicy. Relatively dry and chalky textured with bright acidity, this moreish and tasty sparkler is more a food wine than an aperitif.

This is a wine from Save Our Souls production. It’s a rose of not specified vintage, batch or disgorgement, so not much point of reference but will review it anyway. It’s pretty straightforward with peaches and cream or strawberries and cream, pastry elements and citrus. The palate is crisp and fresh, zesty and without an overwhelming finish. Foamy bubble. Easy with good crunch.
