Blackberry, plum, earth, aniseed and chocolate aromas. Chock-full of flavour but also with keen acidity on the palate, keeping everything clean, fresh and tight. Great value for the price.

Deep, dark red colour with a faint suggestion of purple at the rim. The bouquet is all about aniseed, black cherry, roast meats and earthy aged characters. These re-appear in the mouth where it's full-bodied and rich, ample and generous in flavour without obvious sweetness, acid or tannin - all components are in harmony. Long finish. Excellent wine. And great value.

An inky purple hue; while it has a riff of dark fruit, this is savoury with earthy aromas, charcuterie, aniseed and charcoal. No shortage of tannins, but all contained and finishes super dry.

Deep, bright red/purple colour. The bouquet is fresh and youthful and shows coconut and plum, smoky, peppery too. The palate is full and rich and finishes firm and dry, thanks to abundant tannins. Licorice and blackberry flavours join in. The finish is very dry and the dosage seems low. Great value.
