Product Highlights

Imagine stocking up on some staple wines, and opening the box, and inside you find a $1000 bottle of Penfolds Grange staring back at you. WIth this Lucky Dip dozen, the odds are stacked in your favour to win, no matter what.

Every upgraded dozen starts as a mixed case already packed with serious red wine value, heavily discounted before any upgrades come into play.

From there, some cases are lifted even further.

A handful include icon bottles slipped into the mix, from names like Chateau Yaldara, 1847 and Sorby Adams, and across the run there’s a 1-in-100 chance that one of those upgrades is a bottle of Penfolds Grange, valued at $1000.

Even as a standard case, you’re still well ahead on value.

If luck swings your way, the upside is obvious. Either way, you’re winning.

At $150 per dozen, against a $332 RRP, you’re $182 ahead before any upgrades even start.

The contents are a mystery by design. The value isn’t. Don't be left wishing you had more. It's time to wet your beak and unearth the ultimate Lucky Dip Dozen.

Mostly a bundle of cheapies makes the price a little dubious

"There was a pleasing Paxton shiraz/grenache in the box. However, many of the bottles were familiar to me as ones I've had before as a result of my hunt for cheapies. Pleasant enough, but not convinced the box price delivered more value than if I'd placed one of my typical orders. Certainly I didn't have the good luck for any upgrade, but that was always a low probability outcome."

Lucky dip upgrade

"The wines were fine, but less impressive than other cases we’ve previously ordered."

OK

"I was a bit disappointed by the selection. I have had some excellent mixed boxes from TWC, but somehow this one was lacking in anything really interesting"
