Product Highlights

Hello fellow traveller, and welcome to one of the most heavily visited corners of The Wine Collective website.

We’re rather fond of this little mystery bargain, but we can’t exactly put it up in lights. Our staff know about it. Our families know about it. And now, it's your chance to unlock this marvel. 10,000 cases sold in the last decade means we must be doing something right?

So, what’s with all the secrecy?

This Mystery Mixed Dozen is made up of those little parcels of wine that don’t quite fit anywhere else. A few bottles from the scratch and dent pile. A few odds and ends. A few gems that were hiding behind a pallet, tucked away in a dark corner of the warehouse, or simply left without enough mates to build a full case of their own.

Inside, you’ll find 12 bottles: 6 whites and 6 reds. Some come from our scratch and dent selection, while the other ten are true mystery picks from across the range.

But don’t fret - every single wine has been given the tick of approval by our scrupulous tasting team. No duds here.

As for the scratch and dents, there’s nothing wrong with the wine itself. We’re talking a tiny label tear, a scuffed bottle, or something else purely cosmetic.

The rest are the kind of bottles we can’t always shout about. Small parcels. End-of-line stock. Lost treasures. The adult version of a lolly bag, only with much better odds.

Best keep it under your hat though. If the bean-counters find out we’re packing cases like this, our secret squirrel mystery corner might just vanish without a trace.

This pack contains:

12 Mystery wines, but you will find 6 white and 6 red, with a value of at least $360 for the pack.

Overall rating: 3.5 / 5 from 6 reviews.

A bit disappointed this time

"Have always found these EOFY Mystery Mixes to be great value with a few surprises. This time, I was surprised that the mix seemed on the average side with no stand out exceptional samples included. I generally stay away from Mystery Packs as they often include wines I wouldn't buy for various reasons but the EOFY packs are usually full of enjoyment. I am not saying the wines arent going to be good drinking, just no stand out winners this year for me."

Not what I expected

"There were too many Sauvignon Blanc bottles in it. Disappointing as both my wife and I are not Sauvignon Blanc drinkers (in fact we hate it). I've learnt my lesson, i. e. not to ever trust a 'mystery dozen' again."

Shane R. (1/5)

A good selection

"As with many Mystery boxes, this one was a nice mix of a wide variety of wine styles. Always fun to see what's inside and try something new."

Richard R. (5/5)

Good Value Mixed Mystery.

"good variety of wines included, would have preferred all reds rather than mixed case"
