It feels a bit lean and out of the box for chardonnay. Gingery, with dashes of stone fruit and apple reminding drinkers of the variety, but it has some soursop and tropical fruit sour-sweetness, a bit of lemon-soap character and a short, waxy finish that misses a little refreshment factor. A good chill should sort it out somewhat.

No oak used here. Melon and tropical fruit, a bit of honey. Quite glossy and viscous, a cut of tangy acidity, a fair bit of flavour here, slightly spicy, pulls a bit buttery and loose on a finish of modest length. A bit sunshiny but nice enough served cold.
