Product Highlights
98 Points Again – and now ranked #4 Wine of the Year by James Suckling
The 2024 vintage of this remarkable Central Otago Pinot has just repeated its triumph – 98 points from James Suckling, and now officially #4 in his Top Wines of the Year. For a sub-$35 Pinot, that’s unheard of.
With the famed Felton Road vineyard just a stone’s throw away, this single-vineyard site sits in the absolute dress circle of New Zealand’s mighty South Island. Farmed organically, dry-grown, and perched high above Bannockburn, it’s one of the region’s oldest and most remarkable plots.
The 2024 vintage carries all the brilliance that made the previous release a sensation. Sourced from one of Bannockburn’s highest vineyards – 300m above sea level – it captures dazzling purity and concentration from a near-perfect growing season. Six unique clones come together here to form a wine of depth, energy, and finesse.
“Terra Sancta” translates to “special place”, and it’s hard to think of a more fitting name. The Mysterious Diggings Pinot bursts with violets, bright red fruits, and a whisper of spice – a silken, elegant expression of what makes Central Otago so revered.
Flavour. Purity. Value. You simply have to taste it to believe it.
