The 2024 vintage began with a mild winter, marked by
some rainfall that partially helped replenish the soil's water
reserves, which had been depleted after a rain-starved
summer. The vines' growth resumed normally during a
generally mild period. Late spring and summer were marked by a
generally rainy season. These climatic conditions required
special agronomic attention to preserve the vines' health, and not
only that: thinning, in particular, played a key role in ensuring
grapes with a reasonable sugar concentration and good
freshness. The harvest began on September 27th and ended on
October 9th.
The grapes were crushed and destemmed. Maceration lasted approximately 5-7 days at a temperature of 28-30°C. Malolactic fermentation concluded in mid-December. The wines from different vineyards were blended in the spring and bottled.
