Bright mid-ruby with aromas of ripe red and dark cherries, pomegranate, rhubarb and red plum. Hints of crushed herbs, turned earth, dried game meats, cherry clafoutis and crushed stone. Elegant and long of flavour, the wine stretches out on the palate with a plume of ripe fruit, gravelly tannin and a briney minerality tending to stony and savoury on the tail end.

A little finer and more restrained than the '23 release; aromas of red plum, raspberry, dark cherry and a splash of cranberry. Hints of exotic spice and wildflowers along with poached rhubarb, amaro, enoki mushrooms, turned leaves, shoyu, pomegranate and earth. A little more savoury, too, with a powdered, rocky tannin profile, bright, mineral-rich acidity and plenty of spice and ripe plum and cherry fruits on the finish.
