Fantastic perfume, Cranberry, framboise, stewed/cold Rhubarb, cherry, cola. Smells and tastes like Gamay! Nice W/Bunch, dried herbs, pissaladiere, red fruits. Keeps rolling and rolling on the palate. Just right on the acid. Incredible length of flavour. Fantastic vintage.

The 2023 Trapeze Six J's Gamay is a standout, earning 95 points from Phillip Rich for Halliday, with notes of “lifted aromatics of freshly picked raspberries, cranberries, bright florals and mountain herbs.” Mark Pollard adds, “Seriously think this is one of the best Gamay in the country!” After awarding a whopping 96 Points from our tasting panel. This wine is perfectly balanced with juicy acidity and light, crunchy tannins. Light yet full of flavour, it’s ideal for those who enjoy Grenache or Pinot Noir. Serve slightly chilled to experience its vibrant, herbaceous complexity and impressive length, a true gem of Australian Gamay.
