The palate unfurls its flavours gently, like a slow-motion blossoming. Acidity is woven through this carefully detailed and precisely textural wine. This is a wine to slow down for; take a moment to breath and appreciate its grace.

The 2023 Pinot Gris Sleepers Vineyard Kēkerengū Coast combines fine phenolics and much higher acidity than you might anticipate from this variety to create an attractive, lightly tannic structure. Aromatically, there's an exotic, almost Gewürztraminer-like initial floral note, which then tempers to a more subtle, creamy, pear-tart flavor through the mid- and back-palate. This is delightfully textured.
