It ticks a lot of boxes for chardonnay in its more elementary state and delivers value for the pricepoint. Opening scents show stone fruits, green melon, vanilla cream, natural yoghurt and hazelnut nicely applied. The palate is washy, a bit diffuse, soft though and readily appealing. Flavours are framed by some cloying slipperiness, more nougat, more stone fruits, riper rockmelon and faint buttery elements. Simple, done relatively well.
