Legend has it they stepped off the boat in South Australia and planted vines before the sun even set. And those cuttings were picked up en route via South Africa, for some reason our quarantine laws weren't a thing yet.
Then there’s the winemaker. Considered a quiet achiever from those in the know, for being behind some of Lindemans most celebrated reds in the late '90s. A true regional specialist whose name may not be shouted from rooftops, but definitely should be.
