2022 Mystery Langhorne Creek Chardonnay Deal No. 5975
This is a great value Chardonnay. Langhorne Creek has been the engine room of brands like Penfolds and Wynns for years. Fantastic value. Lovely peach notes and nice mouthfeel.
This is a great value Chardonnay. Langhorne Creek has been the engine room of brands like Penfolds and Wynns for years. Fantastic value. Lovely peach notes and nice mouthfeel.
Bright and fresh, this Chardonnay shows lifted aromas of lemon zest, green apple and pear with a subtle mineral edge. The palate is crisp and medium-bodied, driven by citrus flavours, lively acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.

Tony Love - Winepilot
There might not be too many educated wine experts going wobbly at the knees over a Langhorne Creek Chardonnay, but they might just be missing out here as this has got a fair bit to like: a glossy mid gold colour to begin, and bang-on aromas of ripe apple and peach with roasted macadamia nut. What follows continues the story, with winemaking combining free-run juice, and a range of pressings, lees worked and barrel impacted, included in the mix. The result is quite tasty, cleverly put together and blooming in the glass with a nice mix of citrus, stone fruit and some woody structural scaffolding. For the price, well done.

There is ripeness of fruit balanced by an oyster shell minerality. The generosity of varietal shows in the palate’s 3D dimension.

Meyer lemon, white peach cheeks and honeysuckle. Toast with creamed honey, sesame and squeaky haloumi cheese creaminess. There is ripeness of fruit balanced by an oyster shell minerality. The generosity of varietal shows in the palate’s 3D dimension. Lemon tart, chamomile and nutmeg. A moreish wine. Drink now with butternut squash ravioli and browned butter and sage.

"A nice, clean Chardonnay, but nothing special. Clean and refreshing, but not very interesting. Little sign of bottle age. Good, but not great."
