Tasting Notes

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Pear and honeysuckle aromas combine with red apple skin and hints of quince. Juicy pear, apple skin and quince flavours have a fleshy feel over a back drop of delicate musk. Brisk acidity with a nicely shaped mid length finish.

Yum!

"Great wine for summer drinking, lots of fruit so it stands up to some chilling, great thread of acid that tempers the fruit also. Fantastic food wine, will work well with Indian and Middle Eastern flavours. Great value for money. Pino Gris drinks will really like it."

Not a style I appreciate

"This grape variety is new to me and I do not like the flavour. It is dry and acidic, but does not have length."

Karolyigvel Veltliner

"Only two glasses so far but with spicy beef soup and was very cleansing, your tasting notes match what I sense about this wine. Would get it again."

"Haven't tried it yet."

Andos Gruner review

"OK as a different white wine experience. Think we have some better wines in Sth Australia. Was worth trying but will stick to Aussie Gruners."
