The 2022 S.R.S. Cabernet Sauvignon was made with fruit sourced from the Wilyabrup area, long regarded as home to the finest of Cabernet Sauvignon wines produced in Margaret River.
Wild fermentation, hand plunging and extended skin contact prior to maturation in French oak, has resulted in a complex Cabernet Sauvignon with fine grain tannins. The wine shows classic Wilyabrup fruit characters of violets, mixed berries and dark chocolate. Drinking well now, it will benefit from 5 -10 years cellaring.
