It feels good, and it tastes good. Indeed it's one of the plusher expressions of cabernet that you'll encounter. Blackcurrant, black olive, spearmint and sweet, smoky, resiny cedar characters put on a lovely show here. Anise and tobacco notes complete the picture. You can't go wrong.

This is a plush, curranty wine with spearmint, black olive, woodsmoke and resin characters moving slowly towards black licorice and tobacco. It’s rich and ripe in Coonawarra cabernet terms but it’s absolutely convincing.
