The key concept that defines this wine is pleasure, as it bewiches all the senses, even when young. It possesses all the harmony and seductive characteristics of its famous older brother. About Château Tour Haut-Brion With a surface under vines of 5 hectares, Château La Tour Huat-Brion was the smallest of the classified growths of red Graves before production ended in 2005 vintage, when its vineyard was acquired by Château La Mission Haut-Brion. Since that year these parcels have been part of the surface under vines of Château La Mission Haut-Brion thus providing their distinctive contribution to the blends used in the creation of La Chappelle de la Mission Haut-Brion's recent vintages. Tasting A splendid dark, garnet-red colour. The first nose is striking for its aromas of red and black fruit. On swirling the wine, scents of raspberry and blackcurrant stand out, underlined by lovely woodiness. The first taste is impressive and fleshy, appealing. Then the wine develops on a more distinct texture of tannin, juicy and rich in fruity flavours. The averagely long finish is very pleasant in its taste of freshly picked fruit and spice. The Merlots and Cabernet Sauvignons follow one another in turn between the first taste and the finish.
