Château Montrose: revealing the essence of an exceptional terroir
Martin and Olivier Bouygues acquired Château Montrose in 2006. Under their visionary leadership, this 2nd Grand Cru Classé of 1855 embarked on an inspiring journey into the 21st century. Their management gave rise to a remarkable renovation project, resulting in state-of-the-art facilities that seamlessly blend cutting-edge environmental and viticultural technology with architectural beauty. Serving as true custodians, Martin and Olivier Bouygues are dedicated to revealing, nurturing, and preserving the distinctive terroir that spans over 90 hectares in a single contiguous plot, strategically nestled along the banks of the Gironde estuary, in the Saint-Estèphe appellation.
2022 marks the beginning of a new chapter for the estate. Pierre Graffeuille, former CEO of Domaines Delon, is appointed as the General Manager of SCDM Domaines de la Familles Bouygues. Alongside Charlotte Bouygues, Director of Strategy and Development, he continues the development of the properties managed over the past decade by Hervé Berland.
