Structured with layers of tannins that are chewy yet polished and powerful. Full-bodied yet remains intense. Currant and fresh flower flavors. Give it time to come together. 62% cabernet sauvignon, 35% merlot and the rest petit verdot. This needs time. Best ever? Try after 2024.

Always a reliable and high-quality estate offering tons of Pauillac character. Ripples with fleshy black fruit and earthy black pepper spice. There are firm tannins at this point that will widen and soften over ageing, and overall it feels like a precise and carefully-extracted reflection of a warm summer where the Cabernet was able to reach full ripeness. Partial malolactic in barrel, 32% new oak for the ageing. Harvest 19 September to 10 October.
