Light to medium hot-pink colour, fresh and youthful. The bouquet is subdued and shy, the taste light and fruity, with a definite kick of sweetness. A hint of raspberry which lingers. Nice wine, and it has plenty of commercial appeal.
<p>The Pink Lady is a saignee of Pinot Noir where 12% of the Pinot Noir juice was removed to concentrate the main Pinot (Beautiful Isle) ferment yielding lightly coloured juice that is then treated like a white wine. Pink Lady is dry, textural and lingering, with delicious red fruits.</p>
