With a blend of odds and ends from the Marion’s Vineyard estate, the couple was pleasantly surprised by the result and decided to bottle it. This became the first wine for Beautiful Isle, a white and red estate grown field blend that had no home until then.
Inspired by the iconic fruit label art, the couple chose the Haven and Beautiful Isle labels for their wines. These labels, adorned with bright and friendly apple crate art prints, perfectly captured the essence of their wines. And thus, Beautiful Isle Wines found its home.
As the brand grew, so did their sourcing of exceptional fruit from various vineyards in the Tamar Valley. The word 'Fancy' from the 1930's, a term used to indicate top quality fruit, was adopted by Beautiful Isle as their mantra. And with every bottle of Fancy Wine, they strive to uphold this standard.
