Pale straw colour with green highlights and aromas of flinty minerality, lime zest, and soft toast. The palate is crisp and dry, with vibrant citrus and apple flavours framed by steely acidity and a long, mineral-driven finish.

James Halliday - Halliday Wine Companion
Fragrant and delicate, but quite piercing and surprisingly long; great potential. Gold medal Tas Wine Show ’09.
Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW - Robert Parker Wine Advocate
The 2007 R0 Riesling gives delicate lemon-lime aromas with a whiff of honeysuckle and wet stones. Light-bodied, very crisp and dry with just 10.3% alcohol, the palate has a really nice nervy intensity and a long finish. Drinking now this should cellar to 2018. 1202 bottles were produced.
These delicate, well crafted Rieslings from an area of South Tasmania just north of Hobart are certainly worth the hunt for someone seeking cool climate expressions that are also uniquely Australian. The letter ‘R’ with a number after is representative of the amount of residual sugar the wine has. So the bone dry ‘R0’ has no residual sugar while ‘R139’ is quite sweet containing 139 g/l.
