Continuing in the tradition of hard work and innovation established by William Lyne in 1826, Rodney and Lyn Lyne have planted 14.5 hectares of wine grapes at Spring Vale, principally Pinot Noir. Situated along the Freycinet Coast in North Eastern Tasmania, the modern day Spring Vale vineyard was planted in 1986. Further plantings were made in subsequent years with additions of Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris and more Pinot Noir.
