Masottina

Territory, family, tradition and innovation: these are the cornerstones on which the history of Masottina wine company is based. Indeed, it is on these foundations that a top-quality brand has been built, with an equitable relationship between man and nature.

As a pioneer on the wine-producing frontier of Conegliano, in 1946 Epifanio Dal Bianco began dedicating himself to expanding his agricultural property and to persuading his three sons, Adriano, Valerio and Renzo, to share his aspirations. It was Adriano in particular – the oenologist in the family – who led the company to a new level, focusing on avant garde choices and solutions that placed Masottina at the forefront of Italian winemaking. Even before Conegliano Valdobbiadene stepped into the limelight, Adriano and his brothers began developing the outstanding products – from Proseccos to still wines – that would give the Veneto a leading role on the Italian and world wine scenes.

Over the years the three brothers were joined by the third generation, consisting of Filippo, Federico and Edoardo, Adriano’s sons. Each of them has specialized in a different field, thus bringing to the company added technical values and know-how that have been fundamental for establishing Masottina on both the domestic and international markets.
