Hosanna

Located in the prestigious Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux, France, Hosanna is a highly acclaimed wine producer that has been crafting exceptional wines for decades. With a history dating back to the 16th century, the estate has been passed down through generations and is now owned by the esteemed Moueix family. The terroir of Hosanna is truly unique, with its gravelly soil and clay-limestone subsoil providing the perfect conditions for growing the famous Merlot grape. This, combined with the expertise of the Moueix family, results in wines that are elegant, complex and full of character. Hosanna's flagship wine is a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc, carefully selected from the best plots of the estate. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo a meticulous vinification process, including a 18-24 month aging period in French oak barrels. The result is a wine with deep ruby color, intense aromas of dark fruits and spices, and a silky smooth texture. On the palate, Hosanna is rich and full-bodied, with layers of blackberry, plum, and cherry flavors, complemented by hints of vanilla and toast. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a satisfying and memorable impression. Hosanna is a true representation of the Pomerol terroir and the dedication of the Moueix family to producing exceptional wines. It is a must-try for any wine enthusiast and a true gem of French winemaking.
