In 1997, the promising Chateau Marjosse found itself under the ownership of the highly skilled Pierre Lurton, who serves as the managing director and winemaker for prestigious estates like Cheval Blanc and Chateau D'Yquem. This vineyard estate spans across 9 hectares, strategically positioned on a clay and limestone plateau situated approximately 300 meters above sea level. Its vineyard plantings encompass Merlot (60%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%), Cabernet Franc (10%), and Malbec (10%).
Under the meticulous guidance of Lurton, the wines at Chateau Marjosse are crafted within a refurbished cellar that boasts a remarkable history of over two centuries. The grapes undergo fermentation in state-of-the-art temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in premium French oak barrels. The final products exhibit a luscious and elegant character, making them exceptional Bordeaux offerings that provide outstanding value to wine enthusiasts.
