Auvigue

Located in the heart of the stunning Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, Domaines Auvigue has a rich and storied history. Its vineyard, which stretches to the outskirts of Mâconnais, is nestled in the charming village of Chardonnay. The estate was founded in the 1940s, but it was not until the 1970s that it truly flourished, thanks to its exceptional terroirs and a deep appreciation for the various expressions of Chardonnay. In 1976, Domaines Auvigue was welcomed into the prestigious Maison Jean Loron, a partnership that has endured for decades and continues to thrive to this day. Throughout the years, the estate has honed its craft, refining its style and techniques to produce exceptional wines that showcase the unique characteristics of the region. At Domaines Auvigue, the cellar is in the capable hands of Céline Hirsch, who brings precision and expertise to the winemaking process. Meanwhile, Clémence Perrachon oversees the vineyards with a meticulous approach, ensuring that each grape is imbued with beautiful minerality and tension. Not far from the renowned Roche de Solutré, classified as a Grand Site de France, Domaines Auvigue stands as a shining example of the beauty and quality of French winemaking. Each bottle is a testament to the estate's rich history, passion for Chardonnay, and commitment to producing wines of the highest calibre.
