Josh Raynolds - Vinous
(72% from 2008, 13% from 2007, 3% from 2006, 7% from 2005 and 5% from 2004; aged for three years on its lees before being disgorged in May, 2013; note that this is a magnum bottling and that the blend of wines is different than that for the 750-ml. version reviewed above): Light yellow. Poached pear, honeysuckle and quinine on the nose, complicated by a hint of toasted bread. Energetic citrus and orchard fruit flavors are softened by suggestions of smoky lees and vanilla bean. Turns spicier on the long, mineral-accented finish, which features juicy citrus and melon notes.

Stuart Pigott - JamesSuckling.com
This delightful Blanc de Blancs marries excellent depth of character – all the citrus, crisp pear and floral aromas of chardonnay – with charm. Properly dry, but very harmonious, thanks to the excellent balance of citrusy freshness and creaminess. Long, clean finish, accentuated by the lively mousse. A cuvee of 2/3rds 2018 with a third of vintages between 2016 and 2011, disgorged in July, 2021.

With its crisp apple fruit and touch of citrus, this initially seems to be merely fruit. Then, slowly, richness and a sense of maturity emerge to create a wine that is complex, full and rich. Open this an hour before pouring.

Subtle aromas of citrus fruit, pear, lemon curd and chalk. Fresh and crisp on the medium-bodied palate, with mineral notes and fine bubbles. Clean and balanced with a lot of freshness and vibrancy. Delicate, creamy aftertaste.

A toasty style with slightly nutty, singed-bread aromas plus very intense white flowers reminiscent of linden trees. Light-bodied with crisp acidity, medium-sized bubbles and a leaner finish that’s elegant and floral.

Light yellow-green with silver reflections and a lively delicate mousse. Fresh aromas of yellow apple and a touch of pear and lime zest, with a mineral undertone and some walnut. Medium-bodied, taut and racy in the mouth, with white fruit and a tight-knit emphatically salty style. An assemblage from seven vintages.
