Tasting Notes

The 2024 vintage at Eden Valley produced Riesling fruit with great depth of flavour and wonderful natural acidity. Cold fermentation in refrigerated stainless steel tanks was used to capture and retain the intense but delicate fruit flavours. The HATCH Flaxman Valley Riesling is floral with hints of lime and jasmine. The palate is elegant with intense fruit and fine natural acidity that is delicious now but will reward with medium to long-term cellaring.

This 2024 Flaxman Valley Riesling is pure Eden Valley pedigree. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards nearly 250 metres above the Barossa floor, it's crisp, floral, and laced with lime and jasmine. The palate is all elegance – intense fruit, razor-sharp acidity, and a structure that will sing for 10 to 15 years in the cellar.
