The Louis wines take their name from for Louis De Freycinet, who published the first map of the coastline of Australia and for whom the Freycinet Peninsula was named.
The Louis range of wines are crafted for everyday enjoyment or for short term cellaring. 100% Estate grown fruit from 27 year old vines is utilised with similar production techniques as for our flagship Freycinet Chardonnay. To achieve a more fruit drive style for Louis Chardonnay, we mature it for a shorter time in seasoned French oak barriques.

Dave Brookes - Halliday's Wine Companion
A very pale straw with aromas of white peach, grapefruit and citrus fruits. Hints of clotted cream, soft spice, nougat, white flowers, sea spray, clover and crushed stone. Clear and bright on the palate with a swift mineral line, a gentle textural element and gently spiced citrus, stone fruit and cream on the finish.
