This offers so much pleasure thanks to the heady aromas, texture and steely acidity. Flavours of poached quince and preserved lemon, so it has a saline twang and a little oak spice, too. The palate is fairly tight, with lime sorbet acidity holding sway, but those textural elements draw in at the finish. A terrific drink and, of course, even better with food.

Saline, gently nutty, a little oatmeal, preserved lemon, some lime juice, green apple crunch but also the hazy, unfiltered version of that. Texture veers towards medium weight. Refreshing as on top of it all. Textural white wine of impeccable balance, interest and lovely, lovely feel.
