No Frills in the vinification: cool fermented for 14 days in stainless- steel tanks with cultivated yeast. Spent 2 months on lees before clarification and bottling. The fruit profile is the expected lime / lemon flavours, not so much the slinky acidity which makes it very much a now or later proposition - an outright bargain.

Kasia Sobiesiak - The Wine Front

Tasted at the open air MP bar at the new Art Gallery of NSW building. The building is pretty modern, seems to suit the wine well. It was served in a large tulip Schott Zwiesel glass, what a treat. Proper. Fancy. The lightness of being. Well chilled. Crisp. Nashi pear, crunchy white nectarine and blossoms. Ultra refreshing, like minty mineral water with a gentle sparkle. Tingling and persistent yet soft. In texture, grapefruit pith and lime zest, salt. I often see a hint of chamomile tea in Hunter Semillons. Breezy. Harbour views are not adding to the score but this is definitely the way to sip this wine. Summery perfection.

Virtually water-white, a hint of lime at the core. Lemon verbena and white flower aromas. Lemon zest and hints of pea-shoots on the tongue. It is light and fresh with a deliciously subtle acidity. Reasonable length and crisp to finish

This wine has a very good feel to it. There have been huge strides at this address since this vintage. It shows. Density of extract, compaction of structure and wonderful poise, belying its lightweight composure. This may be an opening act to a grander suite, yet it drinks very well. I'd like to see this in a few years, all the same. Lemon drop, barley water and brown pear skin. A fine meld of freshness and phenolics. A delicious everyday wine. Screw cap. Drink or hold.

Pale lemon-yellow with aromas of sage, lime curd and white flowers showing in the glass. Lemon pith, green shoots and waxy characters show on the palate. There's a touch of phenolic grip adding to the texture and balances a touch of sweetness as well. Will be good with light seafood
